One of the very first posts I wrote for this blog was a spring beauty wishlist. At that point I was still trying to navigate through WordPress (who I am I kidding? I’m still trying to navigate through WordPress) and didn’t have a clue how to make a collage. It probably took me 4x as much time to get pictures and link all the products. So, this Spring I’m taking a trip down memory lane (sorta) and writing a new Spring Wishlist post. But, since I’m randomly expanding my horizons at Just A Little Blush, I’ll also include a few fashion items.
Chambray Ruffle Skirt – I’ve been rocking ruffles on shirts for a while now. But I’m ready to transition the shuffles down to my skirts. Plus, chambray is in right? Fashion bloggers – please advise if it’s not.
Leopard Print Clutch – People style clutches like this in some many different ways that I figured it will be versatile enough to use all year.
White Toothpick Jeans – I’m cheating a bit with this one since I technically already ordered these jeans. After seeing Kate from lonestarsouthern.com wear them all the time I decided to finally take the plunge.
Scallop Frill Tee – Gina Rodriguez wears a top like this (or perhaps this exact one) on Jane The Virgin. The first time I saw it, I immediately googled it. Unfortunately it was sold out at the time. I finally found it again. I’m basically obsessed with scallops. And bows…. and polka dots… like a 4 yr old.
Off The Shoulder Dress – Sadly, strapless bra’s are not friends for those of us ummm….more blessed in the top area. So dresses like this are probably a no no. But a girl can dream right? I love the style & color for spring and summer.
Ankle Strap Sandal – I don’t have any fun colored shoes. These come is over 8 different colors and the heel looks chunky enough not to make me want to die after an hour of wearing them. Steve Madden also has a very similar style for $89 (here).
Illuminating Setting Spray – I’m intrigued by this product. I usually have to set my makeup with powder since I have combination skin so I’m always rocking a matte look. It would be interesting to see if a setting spray can truly illuminate.
Invisible Bronzer – This is a new release from Bare Minerals. I remember back in the day I lived for their Warmth bronzer. It’s supposed to be an ultra fine baked bronzer with reflective pearls. I like that they have four different shades for different skin tones (unlike most brands).
Milk Makeup – Blur Stick – This blurring stick is all over YouTube these days. It’s a stick primer to minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines yet it’s silicone free. Most smoothing primers use silicone to achieve that pore-less look. It’s also oil, paraben and sulfate free.
