PSA: The Sephora VIB Sale starts TODAY for VIB Rouge members! Can you tell I’m excited? My cart’s ready since Saturday. All that’s left for me to do is check out. If you missed my post yesterday, you can check out My Sephora VIB Sale Picks – My Favorites edition here. I discussed all my tried and true favorites. Today however, we’ll discuss my wish list picks. These are either new launches, or products I’ve been eyeing for a while. Again, my strategy for the sale is to stock up on favorites, and purchase any more expensive, luxury products that I’ve been wanting to try out.
As a reminder, the promo codes are as follows:
VIB Rouge: ROUGESPRING
VIB: VIBSPRING (access starts tomorrow)
Beauty Insiders: BISPRING (access starts April 20)
If you’re shopping online, you have to log into your account for the code to work. In store you’ll need your Beauty Insider Card or Beauty Insider #. If you aren’t a Beauty Insider yet, you can still sign up for free online or in store.
Sephora VIB Sale Picks – Wishlist Edition
+ First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer $28 – I tried this primer/moisturizer on the back of my hand in store recently. It smells just like the Too Faced RX Primer, but also leaves a glowy sheen on the skin.
+ Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette $42 – You guys have no idea how much I’ve wanted this palette since it launched last year. But, I kept telling myself I didn’t need a another eye shadow palette. I’m finally giving in. I need it.
+ Caudalie Beauty Elixir $49 – So a little confession here: I spritz myself with this EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I walk into a Sephora store. But for some reason I never buy it! I think it’s time.
+ Makeup Forever Aqua Lip Waterproof $20 – We used these lip liners at the Makeup Training Academy and they are awesome. I basically used the nude for every single model regardless of what lipstick color I applied after.
+ St Tropez Tanning Mousse – $42 Turns out my beloved Tan Towels have been discontinued so I need another tanning alternatives. I’ve done quite a bit of research on self tanning and this product has the most consistent reviews.
+ Ouai Texturizing Hair Spray $26 – I still love DryBar’s Triple Sec Texturizing spray. But, variety is the spice of life, so it’s time to try a different brand.
+ Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Crush Body Mist – $32 – Obviously I’m obsessed with the Bum Bum cream. But, the obsession is partially the scent. If this body mist satisfies the scent test, perhaps I can save on the $45 Bum Bum cream.
+ Supergoop Invisible Setting Powder $30 – Given my acne scars & a family history of skin cancers I take sun protection ultra seriously. However, regardless of the amount applied before a workout, by the end of class nothing’s left. I’m thinking this powder will be a good alternative to apply post workout for my ride home. I won’t have to worry about carrying any bottles or applying a cream on a sweaty face.
What’s your sale shopping strategy? Do you plan ahead or just wing it during sale time?
