Hi Everyone! I’m sure my husband is going to be glad I’m finally writing this since it means I’ll finally toss all the empty bottles in the bathroom hehe. Even though I don’t even photograph the empty bottles (bc they are all gross) I keep them around as reminders. Today I’ll be discussing five recent hair, bath and skin care empties.
This is the second Kiehl’s Avocado Eye Treatment that I’ve gone through. I actually really like the formula. However, I feel like it’s sole purpose is to moisturize the eye area. I’m not sure it has any other anti-aging benefits. Also, I find it highly annoying that it comes in a tub.
That being said, I could see myself repurchasing it again once I got through a few other eye creams I have hanging out.
Method Foaming Body Wash – $9.99
Is it weird to talk about body wash? I hope not since this is probably the fourth body wash I talk about on the blog. I bought this at Target after having a good experience with Method laundry products. Yes, I know a good laundry detergent doesn’t correlate with a good body wash. However, since the brand seemed to be good I went with body wash too.
I love that it has a pump (which is great for a shower product), smells delicious and is paraben free. I thought that since it comes out as a foam it wouldn’t last very long. But, it lasted a good 4-5 months. My husband also liked the cucumber scent that I got for him.
At $9.99 I will definitely be repurchasing.
This scrub was 100% an impulse buy/check out line trap at Ulta. I usually just buy this super affordable scrub for my body, so spending $15 for body scrub is a splurge.
The breakfast scent is really nice and it works fine as a scrub. However, it comes in a tub which I find highly inconvenient for shower products. Every time I opened it, water from the shower would get in the tub.
That, plus the cost just don’t make it worth it for me. I don’t think I will repurchase.
I believe this was my fourth bottle of 3 Min Miracle. Obviously I love this stuff.
I’ve mentioned previously that I try to wash my hair every third day. For that reason, I prefer using a clarifying shampoo and a deep conditioner every time I wash my hair. The 3 min miracle smells nice, leaves my hair super soft and silky and is $3.99. It’s by far the best conditioner at the drugstore.
Note: if you wash your hair daily, I probably wouldn’t use this every single day.
Last, but not least is the True Cream Aqua Bomb. This is a pretty popular moisturizer for a good reason. The texture is in between a gel and a cream so it is super lightweight. When I first apply it on my face it looks really shiny and as though the product it just sitting on top of the skin. But, after a couple of minutes it’s completely absorbed and my skin is left extremely moisturized all day. Even with the cold weather lately I haven’t had a single dry patch and my skin hasn’t felt dry at all. As a plus, it doesn’t aggravate my highly acne prone skin.
I really don’t have any moisturizer quite like this so I have already repurchased!
Have a great day!
