Hi Everyone! I’ve skipped Confessional Thursday for a couple of weeks so I’m glad to be back! As always, I am linking up with the lovely Danielle from Sparkles & Latte’s for today’s confessions.
+ The last time my husband and I cooked dinner (or any meal for that matter) was probably back in January. I know that sounds crazy but we just DO NOT enjoy cooking. We’d rather eat cereal than make the effort to prepare, cook and clean. Well meaning people keep trying to tell us how easy it is to make x,y & z. But the truth is we don’t really care. We just aren’t the cooking types. And before anyone comments something along the lines of “when you have kids…” save it. Not interested.
+ To piggy back off my last sentence above, I am so beyond sick of people asking us when we are going to have kids. I can’t deal anymore.
+ My rant above was two paragraphs long before I decided that I was about to piss off everyone I know that has kids so I’m going to play nice and tone it down. But for any of you that are on the same boat, find comfort here -> 17 Things Women Without Children Are Tired of Hearing
+ It barely dropped to 76 degrees in Dallas this week and I busted out my toasted marshmallow candle.
+ I decided against watching the debate this week for fear of fremdschämen. Apparently fremdschämen means: to feel ashamed about something someone else has done; to be embarassed because someone else has embarrassed himself (and doesn’t notice). I can’t even watch Donald Trump’s call-in’s to the Today show in the morning.
+ I killed a little spider yesterday morning and I feel really guilty about it. I actually spotted it running around my desk the day before but decided that I would spare its life as long as it didn’t bother me. And then it had the nerve to run around all my makeup brushes and I went all Hulk on it. Now I feel really bad that I didn’t just pick it up and take it outside.
+ Since I became a vegetarian earlier this year I constantly dream about accidentally eating meat. And even though I know it’s not real I still feel really guilty about it in the morning! what the heck?
Happy almost Friday friends!
