Confessional Thursday two weeks in a row? Your eyes do not deceive you, it’s happening. I’ve diligently kept track of all the ridiculous things I’ve done this week for your viewing pleasure.
Also, is it Friday yet? I desperately need a staycation. Every time there’s a holiday or even just a Friday off we tend to go out of town or make a lot of plans. I just want a whole week of doing nothing. Anyone else feel like this? Why didn’t I ever appreciate having the summers off during college? What a waste!
+ We were in bed by 8pm Saturday night. We’re just living up in this house.
+ Right before we went to bed, we went to the grocery store and bought: a bag of chips, a box of cookies, two pints of ice cream and two frozen pizzas. All were consumed by 8pm. At least the chips were baked…
+ Speaking of eating things. I bought my mom a bag of chocolate covered pretzels as part of her Mother’s Day gift. A day before giving them to her I couldn’t help myself and ate the entire bag. Yes, I ate my mom’s gift. Not only that, but I was so embarrassed that I hid the empty bag from my hubby.
+ Last week I posted how to save money on beauty products and services (read here). One of the items mentioned was that I cut my own hair (which I do!). It just so happens that the day I posted that, I got the first professional haircut in a LONG time haha. A little ironic that I post how I cut my own hair on the same day I get a professional haircut. Ultimately it was a one time thing since the price was right. I still plan on cutting my own hair in the foreseeable future.
+ The night before publishing that same post I bought a $108 Tom Ford palette. It’s all about balance right?
+ Last Friday Target featured one of my Instagram posts on their Awesome Shop. They also started following me on Instagram. Let’s just say it was an exciting moment in my blogging journey. I celebrated by emailing/texting ALL my friends and listening to Drake’s – Started From The Bottom non stop.
+ My room at home still has a shirtless Justin Timberlake cut out poster from 2003. My husband hates it and turned it over, revealing a lovely picture of Clay Aiken from the second season of American Idol.
