Hi Everyone! It almost feels like Tuesday’s post was confessions haha. But, today we’ll do non-grocery list related confessions. You know what they say variety is the spice of life.
Today is actually like Friday for me since I’m taking the day off from work. Not only is it my birthday weekend, but my parents are in town visiting AND there is a Dallas Blogger Brunch on Saturday! It’s looking like it will be great long weekend for me!
+ Every time my mom is in town she’ll open our fridge and worry about the lack of food in there. So, they day before she arrived I went to the grocery store, and specifically bought bulky fridge items to fill up the space. It didn’t stop her from going grocery shopping the very next day.
+ Last Friday we had pizza for dinner. It took some real effort, but I refrained from eating an entire pizza myself and saved one slice for Saturday. But, of course on Saturday I woke up and immediately ate my slice of pizza. As in, opened my eyes, got out of bed and went straight to the fridge. Great start to the day when you inhale a slice of pizza within 3 minutes of waking up.
+ I use a little handy readability analysis for each blog post. It essentially rates each post based on various factors like word count, transition words, etc. I swear I’ve never written a whole post without the readability assessment telling me my sentences are too long (#runonsetencequeen). If you’re looking for proper grammar, this isn’t the blog for you hehe.
+ I played Bon Jovi while writing Monday’s Balm Jovi palette review.
+ We’re still eating the Halloween candy that was meant for all the trick or treaters that never came.
+ We can’t seem to keep any potted plans or flowers alive in this house. I really don’t understand why, we ALWAYS follow the instructions. Needless to say, after three orquids, some tulips and a few other nameless plants- we give up. I mean, we keep the dog alive and well… why can’t we figure out plants?
+ My husband is convinced some of the plants aren’t really dead so we have a nice little plant cemetery situation outside.
