Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. As some of you may know, we are currently on our Euro trip! However, do not fear, I have posts scheduled this week starting with today’s Champagne Pop Dupe!
I’ll be honest, I’m usually pretty skeptical when I purchase Wet N Wild products. Even though I’m constantly blow away by some of them, I always wonder how makeup in the $3-$6 range can turn out well. This highlighter was no exception. I picked it up at Walgreens without being entirely sure what it was. The pattern is almost like a pink, brown and gold animal print.
And then I swatched it… And swatched it over and over again I couldn’t believe it. I then ran to my makeup drawer and pulled out my high end highlighters and swatched them next to it. This Boozy Brunch Shimmer palette is almost identical to the $38 Champagne Pop Shimmer Skin Perfector from Becca.

As you can see in the swatches, this Wet N Wild Shimmer palette is extremely similar to Champagne Pop. Since there are three different shades swirling in there, you can get a few different shades depending on where you focus on. If you swirl all the colors, you get a shade more similar to Champagne Pop which is a peachy/gold highlighter. If you focus mostly on the gold and brown you can actually get a shade closer to Opal which is probably my favorite highlighter of all time.

Further, color is beautiful, the formula is creamy and pigmented and it’s $5.99! As far as I can tell, the only difference I’ve noticed is that the Becca highlighters are slightly longer lasting. However, is that worth a $33 price difference? Probably not.
As a plus, the pan is literally giant. You would have to bathe in highlighter to ever use all of it.
If you see this at the drugstore, do yourself a favor and buy it!
Have a great week!
